We2travel: bali

Después de la visita relámpago a Singapur, llegamos a Bali. Por fin un destino paradisíaco donde nos quedaríamos más de dos días. En concreto ocho.
Necesitábamos descansar de tanto ajetreo, y aquí tuvimos el descanso merecido. Playa, libro, series, comer, helado, dormir...
Por eso, escogimos sólo dos destinos: Ubud, y una isla, Gili Air (la más tranquila). Para cruzar a la isla pasamos una noche en Padangbai.

Todo el mundo nos habló maravillas de Ubud, a nosotros nos gustó, pero nos esperábamos más.
Igualmente, fue algo nuevo para nosotros, un paisaje más de bosque pluvial.

After our flash visit to Singapore, we reached Bali. Finally an idyllic destination where we could stay more than two days. In fact, eight.
We needed a break from all the bustle, and here we had the well-deserved rest. Beach, book, series, eat, ice cream, sleep...
That is why we just chose two destinations: Ubud, and an island, Gili Air (the quiet one). To cross to the island we stayed one night in Padangbai.

Everybody told us nice things about Ubud, and we liked it, but we were expecting something more.
Anyway, it was something new for us, a new landscape, the rainforest.

En Padangbai la playa no era muy espectacular, pero el ambiente de pueblecito pequeño, y pocos turistas nos cautivó.

In Padangbai the beach was not that special, but the environment of a small town, and not many tourist captivated us.

Y por fin, Gili Air. Creo que las imágenes hablan por sí solas...

También tengo que recordar que nosotros llegamos en temporada baja, de hecho, nos llovió algún

que otro día, pero aún así era precioso.

I have to remind that we got there in low season, actually, it rained a bit, but even like this it was beautiful.
