We cross tomorrow the Chinese border. We were a bit lazy for applying for the Visa and we waited till last moment...but it was easier than we expected to take it in Hanoi. Although we had to pay extra fee for having a double entry Visa (for going inside and outside Hong Kong) and it was made in an Express time. So, as we have no idea of how easy it is going to be to update the blog in the following weeks, here you are a photo-resume of our last stops in Viêt-Nam.

Old capital for Nguyen Empire, in fact, here it was where Bao Dai signed the war peace and gave the power to North Communists. The Ciutadelle remains almost perfect and it host some of the best S.XVII palaces of all Southeast Asia.
Actually we visited the city only for 3h in our way by bus from Hoi An to Hanoi.
Hanoi

Although it is quite different from Saigon (HCMC), the city it is still noisy and more traditional. It is full of local live, not as Western as Saigon.
Halong Bay

No doubts. Best 'good bye' possible for our days in the country. A fairy tale landscape, as Dragon Ball cartoons ones. And, as we always say, places are even better depending on the people you meet there, and we were so lucky. We meet Trina and Travis, a Canadian honey-mooners couple we have share fun and travel stories. We will miss you!!
