We2travel: Konichiwa Japón! Primera parada, Kyoto / Konichiwa Japan! First stop, Kyoto

Por fin llegamos a Japón, uno de mis VID (very important destinations) ;P.

Es curioso descubrir que, como en Europa, dentro del continente asiático haya países tan diferentes unos de otros, teniendo en cuenta que desde una perspectiva occidental todos nos puedan parecer lo mismo.

Con miedo a no cumplir las expectativas por ciertas barreras como el precio o el idioma, tenemos que decir: ¡prueba superada!, no era para tanto, con el Japan Rail Pass hemos podido conocer varios lugares importantes de Japón en poco tiempo, y después de comunicarnos en China con el lenguaje de signos, podemos hablar cualquier idioma.

Nuestra primera parada fue Kioto, el Japón más tradicional, con callejuelas llenas de restaurantes típicos con puertas correderas, farolillos y alguna que otra Geisha nos cruzamos por la calle. Además, aunque llegamos un poco pronto, hemos tenido suerte y hemos podido contemplar los preciosos almendros florecidos, que hacen todavía más bonita la ciudad.

Couchsurfing, genial nuestra experiencia en casa de Akito y sus compañeros de piso que nos acogieron bastantes días como para poder movernos desde Kioto y volver allí para dormir. Una casa tradicional, muy chula!, dormimos en futones como Shinchan, y al salir por el barrio teníamos la sensación de que en cualquier esquina podía aparecer Doraemon...

Finally we arrived Japan, one of my VID (very important destinations) ;P.

It is curious to find that, as in Europe, in the Asian Continent there are many diferent countries one to each other, even we use to think in an occidental vision they are all the same.

We had great expectations about Japan, but we were afraid for not achieve them due to the cost of life here or language barriers. But, hey!, we did it!. With the Japan Rail Pass we could visit high lights in Japan in a short time, and after training in China with the body language, we can speak any language now.

Our first stop was Kyoto, the traditional Japan, with the tipical sliding doors restaurants in the little streets, the lanterns and some Geishas walking trought the streets. Furthermore, we have arrived early for the season, we have been lucky and we were able to see the cherry blossom trees, which make the city even more beautiful.

Enjoying the home made beef noodle soup our host in couchsrfing, Aikito, prepeared for us!

Couchsurfing, great our experience in Akito and his flat mates place, who hosted us enought days to move from Kyoto in a day trip and visit diferent cities. A cool tradicional japanesse house!, we slept in futons like Shinchan cartoons, and if you walked in the neighbourhood you have the feeling that in the next corner you can meet Doraemon...
